This interactive course introduces participants to the concept of co-production - what it is, why it matters, and how to apply it effectively. Through a mix of discussion, practical exercises, and real-world examples, participants will explore the history, principles, and purpose of co-production and how it differs from related approaches such as co-design and consultation.
You’ll engage in hands-on activities to understand what good co-production looks like and how to adapt your approach for different stakeholder groups, including people with learning disabilities, autistic people, patient groups, and local communities.
The course draws on extensive experience from LSBU’s People’s Academy, offering participants practical insight into how to embed genuine co-production within their organisations and projects.
Whether you’re from the public sector, voluntary and community organisations, government, or private industry, this course equips you with the skills, confidence, and tools to plan, deliver, and evaluate co-produced activities effectively.
