In this immersive, hands-on workshop, your group will discover the fascinating world of chocolate - from cocoa pod to silky-smooth bar. Working in LSBU’s professional kitchens, you’ll learn how to craft decadent hand-rolled truffles and create your own flavoured chocolate bars with unique inclusions.

It’s a warm, laughter-filled session that blends creativity, collaboration, and of course, plenty of chocolate tasting!

Your group will:

• Learn about where chocolate comes from and how it’s made
• Make and flavour a rich chocolate ganache for hand-rolled truffles
• Try your hand at tempering and pouring your own chocolate bars
• Experiment with delicious inclusions – from nuts and dried fruit to spices and sea salt
• Enjoy your creations together (and take them home to share… if you can resist!)

No prior experience needed — just curiosity, creativity, and a sweet tooth!

Delivered by the lead chocolate lecturer at The National Bakery School, the world’s oldest bakery school. Supported by our experienced and friendly teaching team.

• Duration: 3 hours (typically 4:00pm – 7:00pm)
• Group size: 10–12 participants
• All ingredients and equipment provided.
• Please bring your own apron and wear comfortable shoes
• Certificates of Participation available on request

This masterclass offers groups a deliciously unique alternative to traditional team socials or dining experiences.

You'll learn artisan chocolate-making skills from industry experts in a professional environment in a hands-on and interactive class. Everyone will leave with their handmade truffles, flavoured bars, and the reciepes to recreate them at home.
