The PEDR Guidance and Approval Service is designed for architecture students and graduates who require both academic and professional approval of their Professional Experience Development Records (PEDRs) to progress towards their RIBA Part 3 qualification. 

Led by LSBU’s experienced Professional Studies Advisor (PSA), this service offers structured review to ensure compliance with RIBA standards. 

All RIBA Part 3 students must have a minimum of 24 months PEDR by the PEDR coursework submission deadline. A minimum of 12 months must be under the oversight of a UK registered architect. 

• Students must be RIBA Part I / RIBA  Part 2 qualified, working in practice, and working towards their RIBA Part 3 qualification
• Access to the RIBA PEDR online portal is required
• Candidates must have accumulated professional work experience as required for their PEDR submissions

• Architecture students and graduates who require PSA approval of their PEDRs
• Individuals seeking structured guidance on completing PEDRs correctly
• Professionals looking to maintain compliance while working towards their Part 3 qualification
• Those who may have fallen behind in their PEDR submissions and need expert support

• Academic review and approval of PEDRs to meet RIBA eligibility standards
• Constructive feedback on common errors and areas of improvement, if submitted within the 2-month window.

This service is provided by LSBU’s appointed Professional Studies Advisors (PSA).

• Feedback on submissions is typically provided within 1 month of receipt.
• Students should allocate sufficient time to ensure the accuracy and completeness of each PEDR submission
