The environmental chamber is a flexible Climate Simulator used for controlled testing and developing new techniques and systems. With unparalleled flexibility, the chamber allows for the construction of both full-scale and scaled environments, enabling you to better understand climatic influences on your innovations. From extreme temperatures to controlled humidity, our facility ensures strict environmental conditions for reliable, repeatable results.

The Environmental Chamber is a self-contained chamber with a range of temperature and humidity settings. Previous clients have tested roof joists and Photovoltaic Panels to check that they were able to withstand extreme heating and cooling in North Africa. 

Hiring this space also gives clients access to a private office space located next to the chamber, as well as specialist support and advice from leading technicians and academics in the field.

Our climate simulation service offers a flexible environment, ideal for testing new techniques, materials, or products, with the added benefit of advanced support from a dedicated technician available to guide and assist throughout your testing process. To enhance your experience, we provide access to a comfortable office space, fostering a work-friendly environment for research or project planning. Additionally, we present opportunities for collaboration with a renowned university, granting access to valuable expertise and resources to further enrich your work.

The Environmental Chamber is located on our Southwark Campus.
